Measles is an acute, systemic, a rash of respiratory infections caused by the measles virus, and measles is one of the most infectious diseases which threaten children's health seriously in China. In developing countries, the mortality rate of children caused by measles can be as high as 5%~10%. Because the measles virus only has a serum type, and its nucleic is very stable, and the measles virus doesn't spread between animals, and human being is the only host of the measles virus. So using an effective and safety measles vaccine to prevent and eliminate measles is feasible not only in theoretical platform but in operation platform. The World Health Organization has listed measles as the third disease which will be eliminated or destroyed after Polio and Smallpox.In 2006, the WHO Western Pacific Region committed to eliminate measles in 2012. For China,to reach the goal of eliminating measles in 2012, the Health Ministry decided to carry out the aggrandizement immunity activity of measles vaccine for school-age children in the national scope in September in 2010 according to the requirements of《the action plan to eliminate measles in China in 2006 to 2010》and《the action plan to eliminate measles in China in 2010 to 2012》. According to the Requirements of the Health Ministry and the CDC, contacting to reality, Jilin Province decided to carry out the aggrandizement immunity activity of measles vaccine for children who are between 8 months and 6 years old in September 11-20 in 2010. All children except those who have measles vaccination contraindication should be received one dose measles vaccine, no matter if they have immunity and disease history or not.Objective: This article can evaluate the effect of the measles vaccine aggrandizement immunity activity which was carried out in Jilin Province, the safety of measles vaccination, relevant factors which can affect suspected abnormal reaction after vaccination, and the operation of abnormal reaction monitoring system, through the comparison between relevant datum about measles vaccination, the rate of vaccination, the occurrence rate of abnormal reaction which is got from this activity and the datum of Jilin Province before and after a year, the comparison between relevant datum got from this activity and those from other provinces or our country.Methods:Export the datum to EXCEL files, and do statistics analysis on measles vaccination in the descriptive analysis method, and do epidemiology analysis on the feature of abnormal reaction's distribution, relevant indicators and influence factors. Population datum is from Jilin Yearbook of 2010,2011 and the information system of China CDC.Results:There are 1327880 children who received measles vaccination in Jilin Province. The reported rate is 98.32% and the evaluated rate is 98.6%, which are more than 95% of the rate of vaccination required by the Health Ministry. The rate of measles's occurrence in a year after aggrandizement immunity is 0.87/10 ten thousand, which decrease about 92.33%compared with the rate before a year. There are 399 suspected vaccination abnormal reaction cases, the reported rate of occurrence is 300/100 ten thousand; the general reaction has 335 cases, and the reported rate is 252/100 ten thousand. Among these abnormal reactions, there are 136 cases whose temperature is higher than 38.6℃, its reported rate is 102/100 ten thousand; Abnormal reaction has 45 cases, its reported rate is 33.9/100 ten thousand; the serious anomalies has 9 cases, its reported rate is 6.7/100 ten thousand, including allergic purpura (5 cases) whose reported rate is 3.7/100 ten thousand, thermal convulsions (4 cases) whose reported rate is 3/100 ten thousand and Coupling disease (19 cases)whose reported incidence is 14/100 ten thousand. No deaths, no group suspected vaccination abnormal reaction cases. Conclusion:This measles vaccine aggrandizement immunity activity has an outstanding effect. It provides basic strategy which can help to reduce and eliminate measles quickly, and also offers valuable experience which can help to develop similar aggrandizement immunity activity effectively; AEFI report incidence, the reported rate of abnormal reaction and other index are all within the WHO estimating value; the vaccine's safety is better. The anomalies information management system against abnormal reaction operates normally in the measles aggrandizement immunity activity, and thereby makes suspected vaccination abnormal reaction monitoring work more standard, abnormal reaction being found and dealt with on time, the negative impact caused by AEFI happened reducing, and provides scientific basis for measles vaccine aggrandizement immunity work.
