Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture And Medicated Cupping Therapy Simple Adiposity Of Spleen Deficiency With Dampness Obstruction

Objective:By observing clinical therapeutic effect of curing Simple adiposity of Spleen Deficiency with Dampness Obstruction through the therapeutics of combining Acupuncture and Medicated Cupping, to confirm clinical therapeutic effect and provide evidences for the effect. By comparing the therapeutics of combining Acupuncture and Medicated Cupping with pure Acupuncture, to explore more effective and more appropriate therapeutics for patients, and try to improve clinical effect.Methods:Totally 60 patients of adiposity were divided to two groups:The treating group and the control group. The treating group, which was cured through the therapeutics of combining Acupuncture and Medicated Cupping, consisted of 3 male patients and 27 female patients, the youngest and the oldest was 18 and 57 years old, the shortest and the longest duration of illness was 3.2 and 11.7 years. The acupuncture points were Pishu, Zhongwan, Tianshu, Daheng, Quchi, Zhigou, Zusanli, Yinling quan, Fenglong, Shangjuxu, Neiting. and Medicated Cupping points were Shenlingbaizhu bulk of the CD. And the control group was cured through the therapeutics of pure Acupuncture, and the acupuncture points were the same as the treating group, so as the operation. Every patient treated one time every other day and seven times as one period of treatment. Every period of treatment would be separated by two days, and continued totally 3 period of treatment. Observe the different and changes of two groups on therapeutic effect, symptoms and obesity. Evaluation standard reference to the 1997 National Study of the Fifth Conference on obesity obesity effect of the revised assessment criteria developed. The figures were analyzed by statistics software of SPSS17.0, and the entire conclusion would be compared between groups.Results:Counted by statistics, no notable different was found between two groups on sex, age and duration of illness (P>0.05). After treatments, the total therapeutic effective rate was 93.33%, and the control group was 70.00%, P< 0.05 counted by statistics, so it was meaningful. There were significant differences on the decrease of body weight index and the rate of fat between two groups (P < 0.05). The therapeutic effective of the treating group was better than the control group.Conclusion:To cure Simple adiposity of Spleen Deficiency with Dampness Obstruction, though both are effective therapeutic of Simple adiposity, the therapeutics of combining Acupuncture and Medicated Cupping is better than pure Acupuncture, and so does on changing body weight index and the rate of fat, can be considered a good method for treatment of simple obesity.
