Objective: For evaluting the health literacy of the migrant workers in Shenzhen comprehensively, The study must establish the evaluation system firstly, try best to find the factor of migrant workers'health literacy secondly, explore the model of intervention to migrant workers'health literacy ,and assume the effect, apply the theoritical and practional bases for enterprises'health educaction and promotion.Methods: Paper review and discussion of professors were used to establish the health literacy evaluation system, and the questionnaire's reliability and validity were tested. Subjects were selected by multi-stage random sample,and those health literacy was measured by questionnaires. T-test ,analysis of variance and Chi-test were used to test the health literacy difference of various demographic characteristics, and Logistic regression analysis was used to find the influencing factors to health literacy. Tranditional occupation health education and promotion model-Green model was used to intervention the health literacy of migrant workers, and the intervention effect was assumed by questionnaire. Results:The health literacy evaluation system was established and the questionaire was eligible.The average health literacy of migrant workers was 45.51 grades, and functional health literacy was higher than interactive health literacy, not to mention critical health literacy, whose scoring rate were 56.88%, 44.51%, 35.55% separately. The basical medical literacy was higher than public health literacy, not to mention occpation health literacy. The communicational disease liteacy was lowest in public health literacy. Aged 26~30 years old migrant workers'health liteacy were higher than other ages. Women higher than men. Married higher than unmarried. More education higher low education. Migrant workers from town higher than countryside. Management higher than technical personnel , and common workers. Month income exceeding 2000 Yuan higher not exceeding. Each week working duration exceeding 56 hours higher than not exceeding. Working duration away from exceeding 5 years higher than 3~5 years, and not exceeding 3 years. Having get the health material of training higher than not. All above factors were statistically significant. The sexual, type of census register, working duration away from home, degree of education and whether received health material five factors have gone to the Logistic regression model ,and model were statistically significant. Tranditional occupation health education and promotion model-Green model was used to intliervention health literacy of migrant workers by diagnosising heatlh literacy—identifing the intervention programs—developing the enterprise leador—acquiring the support from other departments—selecting the active basic health management and training—formiing the intervention panel—practice the intervention plan. After 1 year of intervention, the total health literacy of migrant workers were improved to 52.74 grades(Tvalue=11.38,P=0.000), passing rate to 35.25%(χ~2value=22.34,P=0.000). Functional,interative, and critical health literacy had improved , basic medical literacy and occupation health literacy also.Conclusion: The health literacy evaluation system and the questionnaire have some feasiblity. Health literacy of migrant workers in Shenzhen were low, interative and critical health literacy especially. Lower degree education men who come from countryside, short time away from home, and even got health material should be the key interventional population. The activity of enterprise health education and promotion should be agigated.
