| Objective:To study the effect and significance of Clinical Pathway (CP)and Holistic Nursing(HN) in 200 patiences suffered from Total Hip Replacement(THR).Methods:The patiences of research group received CP since they were in hospital, gaven the overwhelming assessment and admission introduction, provided them and their dependents with stables of CP for their cooperation by the resposible nurse. According to the day's contents of CP and HN, the nurse on duty watched the state of disease analysised the progress of disease, applianced some nursing strategy and mental health education, checked the records of CP of the last day. On the basis of stables, it was marked "√" with blue pen if the state of disease developed along CP; and "×"with red pen if it changed diversely. When the nurse saw the sign of"×", she need to record the change of disease and analysis the reasons, to inform the doctors to adopt a corresponding treatment and communicate with the patiences and the dependents. Before the patiences were discharged from hospital, CP was evaluated whether it achieved its intended goal, and the deviation was recorded.Results:Two groups were compared:the days of admission of research group was reduced by 2.5 days, with the fee cutting down by 2%, the difference between two groups is significant; the mastery of health knowledge of research group was 88%, with control group 52%, the difference between two groups is significant; the rate of post-operative complication of research group was 2%, with control group 8%, the difference between two groups is significant; the patience satisfaction of research group was 98%, with control group 52%, the difference between two groups is significant.Conclusion:Applying CP and HN in 200 patiences suffered from THR can shorten the days of admission, lower the rate of post-operative complication, increase the patience satisfaction and the mastery of health knowledge, which can be wildly used in clinic. |
