Objective:To explore the treatment methods and the effect of reconstruction abnormalacetablum in total hip replacement.Methods:41 Patients with total hip replacement were divided into 2 groups based on their imageology anatomy.Group A consisted of 20 cases with hip developmental dysplasia , we used medialization of the cup in total hip replacement by femur head structural bone autografting or morselized bone to reconstruct acetablum;Group B consisted of 21 cases with abnormal acetablum from artificial hip joint revision or acetabular fracture of Bone loss severely, we reconstruct acetablum in total hip replacement by femur head structural bone autografting or morselized bone. Results:Follow—up for 6 months~6 years(average for 2 years) in 41 patients, the Harris score increased from 32.5 preoperatively to 82.6 postoperatively. All the bone grafts fused with the host bone successful and there was no revision and no evidence of loosening on the fo11ow—up radiographs. Conclusions:Acetabular reconstruction that solve the problem of the center location of the hip and bone loss in total hip replacement is an effective operation accurately confirmed acetabular position, stable acetabular component.
