The Diagnostic Value Of PSAD And F/tPSA In Diagnosis Of Prostate Cancer

Objectives To investigate the diagnostic value of PSAD and f/tPSA in diagnosis of prostate cancer in men with serum PSA levels of 4.0-10.0ng/ml.Methods 76 patients(20 prostate cancer and 56 benign prostatic hyperplasia) evaluated free PSA,total PSA and the volume of prostate calculate PSAD and f/tPSA ratio.We compare the diagnostic value of PSAD and f/tPSA in diagnosis of prostate cancer with rank sum test and ROC curves.Result There were no significant differences between BPH group and prostate cancer group in the total PSA,whereas significant differences in PSAD and f/tPSA.The area under the curve of f/tPSA ratio(0.843) was slightly greater than that of PSAD(0.830).Conclusion F/tPSA ratio and PSAD was both the good predictor of prestate cancer in men with PSA levels of 4.0-10.0ng/ml.
