Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetes Tan Shi Nei Zu Syndrome With Hua Zhuo Yi Pi Yin

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Hua Zhuo Yi Pi Yin in the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Tan Shi Nei Zu Syndrome, and to explore if Hua Zhuo Yi Pi Yin can beneficial to improve insulin resistance andβcell function.Methods:60 cases of type 2 diabetes Tan Shi Nei Zu Syndrome were selected with certain diagnostic standard, and randomly divided into experimental group and control group of 30 cases each. Patients in the experimental group were given Hua Zhuo Yi Pi Yin and Repaglinide while patients in the control group were given Repaglinide only. Two groups were accepted treatment for 12 weeks. Measure fasting blood glucose(FBG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose (2hBG), glycolated hemoglobin (HbAlc), Insulin release test and HOMA index (HOMA-IR, HOMA-β) before and after the treatment, and observe the changes of patients'TCM syndrome score before and after the treatment.Results:1 FPG,2hPG, HbAlc and TCM syndrome score in both experimental group and control group were decreased significantly after treatment (P<0.05). And the experimental group was decreased more significantly than the control group (P<0.05).2 Insulin release increased after the treatment in both of the two groups in 0.5h, lh (P<0.05), but lowered in Oh,2h,3h (P<0.05). Comparing the experimental group with the control group, there is no significant differences in 0.5h, lh,2h(P>0.05), but the experimental group decreased significantly than the control group in Oh,3h (P<0.05). And the experimental group was decreased more significantly than the control group (P<0.05).3 HOMA-IR was decreased significantly after the treatment in both groups (P<0.05). And the experimental group was decreased more significantly than the control group (P<0.05). HOMA-B was increased significantly(P<0.05). And the experimental group was increased more significantly than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions:1 Hua Zhuo Yi Pi Yin can play a good role in lowering blood glucose and the insulin levels of plasma fasting (Oh) and postprandial 3 hours (3h).2 Hua Zhuo Yi Pi Yin can lower HOMA-IR and increase HOMA-B at the same time, that means it can effectively improve insulin resistance and B cell function simultaneously.3 Hua Zhuo Yi Pi Yin can ameliorate clinical symptoms of type 2 diabetes Tan Shi Nei Zu Syndrome patients obviously. Side effect hadn't been found during the treatment cycle.
