Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Anovulatory Infertility With Nourish Yin Based Decoction And Letrozole

Objective:To observe the clinical effects with Nourish Yin based decoction and letrozole on treatment of anovulatory infertility,and investigate the mechanism to provide ideas and methods for treatment of anovulatory infertility with combination of traditional chinese medicine and western medicine.Methods:To select 32 infertility patients due to anovulatory and induct ovulation with Nourish Yin based decoction and letrozole.By observing the changes of clinical symptoms,the biggest diameter of follicles,the endometrial thickness and androgen level on oviposit day.Statistic the rate of cycle ovulation,single follicle ovulation,clinical pregnancy and follicular unruptured ovary syndrome (LUFS).32 patients were divided into the PCOS group and the non-PCOS group,then compared their rates of cycle ovulation,single follicle ovulation,clinical pregnancy,endometrial thickness and androgen level on oviposit day.Results:The study observed 32 cases of anovulatory infertility,whose main clinical manifestation was yin deficiency of liver-kidney type. After the therapy,the total effective rate of 90.63%,52.00% for cycle ovulation rate,including single follicle ovulation rate of 84.62%,20.73±2.16mm for average diameter of follicles,had 1 cycle appeared LUFS(2.00%); The average endometrial thickness was 8.96±1.50mm on oviposit day,those above 8mm amounted to 73.08%; 14 cases with clinical pregnancy,the rate for 43.75%,of whom 1 cases twin pregnancy,the incidence of 3.13%;The androgen level had no significant difference before and after the ovulation.The rate of cycle ovulation between the non-PCOS and the PCOS group were 62.96% and 39.13% respectively,the non-PCOS group was significantly higher than the PCOS group.The rate of single follicle ovulation,clinical pregnancy,average diameter of follicles,the endometrial thickness,those above 8mm on oviposit day had no significant differences between the two groups.The androgen level was no significant differences respectively between the two groups of vulation induction before and after treatment.Conclusion:The therapy of ovulation induction with Nourish Yin based decoction and letrozole mostly for single dominant follicular ovulation,less influence on endometrial,it maked the endometrial development and follicular synchronization,thus achieved higher cycle ovulation rate and clinical pregnancy rate.Nourish Yin based decoction and letrozole combined treatment on anovulatory infertility had good effects,with low incidence of side-effcts such as LUFS.The treatment with Nourish Yin based decoction and letrozole could be used for ovulation induction on infertility patients due to PCOS,and didn't aggravate androgen level abnormalities.But PCOS patients had lower sensitivity with this ovulation induction therapy when compared to the non-PCOS patients.
