Influence Of Regulating Qi And Dredging Fu Organ Decoction On The Recovery Of Gastrointestinal Function After Gynecological Abdominal Surgery

Objective:To probe into the clinical effect of influence of regulating Qi and dredging Fu organ decoction on the recovery of gastrointestinal function posterior abdominal surgery through the observation of which on the defecation and exhaustion time as well as other related symptoms.By detecting the level of stomach secrete hormone (serum GAS) and nitric oxide (NO) before and after treatment,to further explore the mechanism of the decoction so as to provide a new viewpoint to the prevention and treatment of gynecological perioperative diseases by Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).Method:56 cases with gynecological abdominal surgery were collected between April in 2010 and February in 2011 from gynecological hospitalized patients of our hospital,and they were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, each with 28 cases respectively. On the first day after the surgery, patients in the treatment group were given regulating Qi and dredging Fu organ decoction besides the regular treatment with the control group only given regular treatment.The first defection and exhaustion time, postoperative nausea and vomiting, abdominal distention, symptom scores were recorded in the two group,and the stomach secrete grain and nitric oxide were extracted from venous serum respectively on preoperative day as well as on the first and third postoperative dayResults:1. Postoperative defecation and exhaustion time in the treatment group is significantly shorter than the control group with P<0.05.2. For the postoperative nausea and vomiting, abdominal distension, abdominal pain as well as symptom scores, the improvement in treatment group are better than control one with P <0.05.3. For the postoperative serum stomach secretes, the treatment group is obviously lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).4. Nitric oxide in the treatment group is obviously higher than that in control group (P< 0.05).5. For the comprehensive curative effect, significant efficiency in the treatment group is 64.29%, with efficiency for 32.14%, and the total effective rate account for 96.43%.For the control group, significant efficiency is 21.43% and 39.29% for efficiency, and the total effective rate is 60.71. The treatment group is better than control one (P<0.05).Conclusion:Regulating Qi and dredging Fu organ decoction can shorten the defecation and exhaustion time posterior to gynecological abdominal surgery, improve postoperative abdominal distension,abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting and other related symptoms. It is helpful for promoting recovery of gastrointestinal function after surgery. Mechanism of the decoction exhibits on promoting the intestinal cells to secrete stomach secrete elements restraining bowel intestinal cells to secrete nitric oxide, as well as to restore the normal.
