Plasma homocysteine was measured within 1 week before angiography in all subjects. Results Mean plasma homocysteine level was significantly higher in coronary patients than in controls [p<0.05] .Homocysteine level in the single vessel group or multi-vessel group were significantly higher compared with that in the controls [p<0.05]. The level of homocysteine in the multi-vessel group tended to be slightly higher as compared with that in the single group, while the difference was statistically insignificant (P>0.05).Conclusion Homocysteine level is elevated in patients with coronary heart disease. The high level of blood Hcy is a vital risk factor and it's an impoirtant means for preventing and treating the coronary heart disease... | Keywords/Search Tags: | Homocysteine, Coronary heart disease, Coronary stenosis, Lesions range | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
