Objective: To investigate the relationship between serum homocysteine level and coronary artery disease. Methods: 109 patients with coronary heart disease were collected in our hospital, including 88 cases of stability angina and 21 cases of acute coronary syndrome.According to whether or not the combination of hyperhomocystinemia was divided into 63 patients(serum homocysteine?10?mol/L)and the control group of 46 patients(serum homocysteine < 10?mol/L).All patients were tested for serum homocysteine levels and coronary angiography. Results: The level of homocysteine(22.49±16.784?mol/L)was significantly higher than that in the control group(22.49±16.784?mol/L).The Gensini integral and multiple lesions of the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There stability was no statistically significant difference between the angina group and the acute coronary syndrome group(P>0.05).Linear regression analysis showed that Gensini integral was positively correlated with Hcy(?=0.443,95%CI:(0.085,0.802),P=0.016).Conclusion: With the increase of homocysteine level, the degree of coronary stenosis gradually increased. The serum homocysteine level is closely related to the degree of coronary artery stenosis and has nothing to do with the stability of coronary artery disease.
