Objective:To compare eperience and clinical outcomes of fractures of calcaneus named SanderSⅢthat according to SanderS treated with imagery monitoring during operating under arcoskop in axial view and lateral view with which under arcoskop in axial view, lateral view and reduced Broden view, come what can ensure dissec reestablishment of inferior articular facet.Methods:36 examples of fractures of calcaneus named SanderSⅢthat according to SanderS that had been admitted to our hospital from 2005.1 to 2010.11 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into two sets. One is routine method group, including 18 instences before 2009.1 which were operated under arcoskop machine in axial view and lateral view monitoring during operating. Another is added reduced Broden view group, including another 18 inatences after 2009.1, which applied monitoring during operating under arcoskop machine in axial view and lateral view binded with reduced Broden view. In the two groups, the age, operation time, body mass index,postoperative hospitalization, preoperative Maryland Foot Score,the MFS of 6 months after operation and postoperative complications were compared in two groups.Results:These patients were followed up from 6 to 34 months, an average of 15.8 months, no infection, calcaneocuboid joint arthritis, peroneus longus tenosynovitis, and in both groups, there were 5 cases of talocalcanea arthritis in conventional group, and in the other group there was only one case.Regarding the age, body mass index, preoperative Maryland Foot Score, postoperative hospital stay,there were no significant difference.As operation time, the MFS of 6 months after operation,the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:With regard to fractures of calcaneus named SanderSⅢthat according to SanderS typing, except for axial view and lateral view imagery monitoring under arcoskop during operation, which added with reduced Broden view imagery monitoring can ensure dissec reestablishment of inferior articular facet and more benefit to functional recovering of talocalcaneal joint.
