Objective:Through observation on patients of post-stroke insomnia with therapeutic effect of ear point sticking and acupuncture treatment,and bring up an experimental basis of safe and effective methods for clinical treatment.Methods:Sixty Patients with post-stroke insomnia were randomly divided into curing group and comparing group.The former was treated with Acupuncture and ear point sticting, the later was treated by Estazolamum Eurodin。Sleep quality of patients was measured with Pittburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) and clinical efficacy judgment standard issued by WHO.Results:1.Effective comparison between two groups:30 cases in the treatment group,16 are cure,12 are markedly effective,1 are effective, and 1 are non-effective, effective rate is 96.67%; 30 cases in the control group, 12 are cure,5 are markedly effective,5 are effective and 8 are non-effective, effective rate is 73.3%. Examined by x2, effective rate of the treatment group excels the one of control group (P<0.05), with significant difference.2.PSQI comparison between two groups:General scores before the treatment in both groups, there was no significant difference (p>0.05), and there was comparability. After treatment, comparison of PSQI's items and general score assessment within both groups before and after treatment has significant difference (P<0.01). Sleeping time, quality of sleeping and daytime function in treatment group all excel the control group (P<0.05 P<0.01).3. Comparison of side effects in two groups:No side effect occurred in the treatment group except 1 patients in felt faint on the acupuncture; In the control group,2 patients got paroxysmal headache,4 patients felt dizzy,1 patient felt exciting and 2 patients felt tired. Examined by X2, side effect rate in the treatment group was significantly lower than in the control group, with significant difference (P<0.01).Conclusion:1. Ear point sticking and acupuncture treating post-stroke insomnia has significant clinical effect in the treatment group, and therapeutic effect excels the control group.2. The therapy can improve sleeping quality; shorten the time of falling asleep and lengthen sleeping time; improve somni-efficiency and daytime function.3. The treatment brings fewer side effects than the control group, it has the advantage of safe, effective and convenient.
