The Clinical Observation On Effect Of Baoshenpian Table On The Residual Renal Function In Peritoneal Dialysis Patients

Objective:To observe the effect of Baoshenpian table on the residual renal function(RRF),the nutritional status and the quality of life in new peritoneal dialysis patients, to evaluate the role of Chinese medicine in protecting the RRF of dialysis patients.Methods:Collect 27 peritoneal dialysis patients of Chinese medicine hospital in Jiangsu Province 2008.3-2011.3 Nephrology hospitalized in line with the inclusion criteria, divide all the patients into treatment group (n=15) who are treated with Baoshenpian table,routine western medicine and peritoneal dialysis and the contrast group (n=12) who are treated with routine western medicine and peritoneal dialysis, for 6 months. The patients are observed on the changes of RRF,urine volume (UV),plasma albumin (Alb),hemoglobin (Hb), total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),quality of life table (SF-36) and other indicators in the second month, in the fouth month, and the sixth month.Results:①The rate of the decline of RRF of the contrast group is greater than the treatment group, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.01).②The rate of the decline of UV of the contrast group is greater than the treatment group, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.01).③The Alb of the treatment group improves better than the contrast group, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.01).The difference in the improvement of the Hb,TC and TG between the treatment group and the contrast group is not statistically significant (P>0.05).④The difference in the improvement of the various dimensional score of SF-36 table between the treatment group and the contrast group is not statistically significant (P>0.05).The difference in the physiological function (RP) and the general state of health (GH) is statistically significant (P<0.05).The difference in the physiological function (PF), the body ache (BP), the energy (VT), the social function (SF), the emotion function (RE), the mental health (MH) and the health change (HT) is not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusions:①The RRF and UV of peritoneal dialysis patients declines with the dialysis time.②Baoshenpian table can delay the decline of RRF and UV.③On the basis of dialysis taking Baoshenpian table can raise the level of Alb of peritoneal dialysis patients,and contribute to the improvement of the nutritional status and the quality of life in peritoneal dialysis patients.
