The Clinical Observation On Effect Of Baoshenpian Table On The Residual Renal Function In Dialysis Patients

Objective:To observe the effect of Baoshenpian table on the residual renal function (RRF) in new dialysis patients, to evaluate the role of Chinese medicine in protecting the RRF of dialysis patients.Methods:Collect 60 dialysis patients of Chinese medicine hospital in Jiangsu Province 2008.12-2009.11 Nephrology hospitalized and Blood Purification Center in line with the inclusion criteria, divide all the patients into treatment group (n=30) who are treated with Baoshenpian table,routine western medicine and dialysis and the contrast group(n=30) who are treated with routine western medicine and dialysis, for 8 weeks. The patients are observed on the changes of RRF, urine volume (UV), plasma albumin (Alb), hemoglobin (Hb), parathyroid hormone (iPTH) and other indicators before treatment, in the fourth week, in the eighth week.Results:①In CAPD and HD patients the rate of the decline of RRF of the contrast group is greater than the treatment group, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05).②In CAPD patients the rate of the decline of UV of the contrast group is greater than the treatment group, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05); In HD patients the difference in the rate of the decline of UV between the treatment group and the contrast group is not statistically significant (P>0.05).③In CAPD patients the Alb of the treatment group improves better than the contrast group, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05); In HD patients the Alb of the treatment group improves better than the contrast group, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.01).④In CAPD patients the difference in the improvement of the Hb between the treatment group and the contrast group is not statistically significant (P>0.05); In HD patients the Hb of the treatment group improves better than the contrast group, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).⑤there is a positive correlation between RRF and Hb(P<0.01).Conclusions:①The RRF of dialysis patients declines with the dialysis time.②Baoshenpian table can delay the decline of RRF, delay the decline of UV probably.③On the basis of dialysis taking Baoshenpian table can raise the level of Alb of dialysis patients, and contribute to the improvement of anemia in HD patients.
