Parkinson's disease, also known as paralysis agitans, is a static tremor, bradykinesia, muscle rigidity and abnormal gait, posture as the main clinical features, common neurodegenerative disease in the elderly. In Taiwan as the arrival of an aging society, increasing the incidence of Parkinson's disease increased. The long duration and high disability give the patient's family and society to a heavy burden. We know the theory of Parkinson's disease in Western medicine, epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis, assessment and treatment and other aspects of the new progress. We systematically concluded and summarized the name, symptom, pathogenesis, and the control principle of the disease in TCM and indicate the direction of clinical research. We carry on the research treating Parkinson's disease patient by taijiquan exercise combined with Madopar on the base of my director's early research. In clinical research, we treated motor and balance dysfunction of PD patient in tijiquan exercise with Madopar, and walking exercise with Madopar treatment as control. Unified Parkinson Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS) in UPDRSIII campaign check evaluation part, Berg Balance Scale (BBS) and 39 Parkinson's disease quality of life questionnaires (PDQ 39) were applied as the observed indicators for clinical evaluation. The results indicated that:before and after treatment tai chi group exercise, Unified Parkinson Disease Rating Scale Inspection (UPDRSIII) points were significantly higher (P<0.01), and better than the walking group (P <0.01). Berg Balance Scale (BBS) integration compared with the Berg Balance Scale tai chi group (BBS) Integration significantly higher (P<0.05), and better than the walking group (P <0.05).39 Parkinson's disease quality of life index (PDQ-39SI) comparison of the PDQ-39SI tai chi group was significantly lower (P<0.05), and better than the walking group (P<0.05).Our study suggests that:Taijiquan with Madopar in Parkinson's patients can not only strengthen the movement control, movement disorders to improve their symptoms and improve their balance, to prevent such accidents or flutter, and ultimately improve their quality of life. Taijiquan can be adopted to balance yin and yang, dredge qi and xue, Chang, regulate five viscera, play a positive overall adjustment on the role of the human body. Also reflects the traditional Chinese medicine both diseases anti change, disease defense complex aspects of "disease" effect. While saving health care resources and reduce the financial burden of patients. Treating PD with Taijiquan can save medical resources, reduce patients'economic burden. This research provides science proof for spreading Taijiquan.
