Clinical Research On Primary Insomnia Treated By Acupuncture With "Cheng Sedative Prescription"

[Objective]:To discuss specificity of the compatibility of acupoints and the mechanism of acupuctpure therapy through comparing the clinical therapeutic effect of insomnia treated by Cheng sedative prescription and general acupoints.[Methods]:60 patients were randomly divided into two groups, treatment group and control group. There were 30 patients in each group.Patients in the control group were treated by general acupuncture, while those in the treatment group treated by acupuncture with Chen sedative prescription. All patients were assessed before and after treatment period. The evaluating items included:(1)PQSI; (2)SRSS; (3)HAMA.[Results]:Accord to analysis of total 60 cases,we can cocluded:①Sex, age, eourse of two groups are evaluated with statistics computation before the treatment. There is no significant different (P>0.05),so two groups can be comparable.②The effective rate and curative rate of insomnia was respectively 93.33%,83.33%in Cheng sedative prescription group,which was better than 80%,56.66% in general acupoints group(P<0.05).In improving the sores of PSQI,the droping of sores in Cheng sedative prescription groups is better than general acupoints. group. In improving the sores of SRSS,the droping of sores in Cheng sedative prescription group is better than general acupoints.group. In improving the sores of HAMA,the droping of sores in Cheng sedative prescription group is better than general acupoints. group.[Conclusion]:(1) The Cheng sedative prescription and general acupoints.can equally improve insomnia patients clinical symptoms and body attack,but the former in the effective rate and curative rate is better than the latter. (2) The treatment in both groups can reduce the sores of PQSI,SRSS and HAMA,but the Cheng sedative prescription group is more improvement than general acupoints. group,which indicates Cheng sedative prescription methods can give a better therapeutic results.
