Objective:Through collating and analyzing the prescription of ocular connectors disease treating with Acupuncture and Moxibustion in ancient and modern literature, discusses its commonly used prescription and the choosing acupoints rule,sums up the high frequency acupoints.So it can provides theoretical support for clinical application and research.Methods:Computer searches of《Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medicine》and CNKI. Screening literatures manual that accorded with inclusive criteria.Statistical analysis with the Microsoft Excel database.Result:The acupoints in usually using of the ancient times are Tongziliao(GB 1) and Ganshu(BL 18), the acupoints in common use of the modern times are Jingming(BL 1)and Qiuhou(EX-HN 7). The adopted points are totally different between ancient and modern literature except Cuanzhu(BL 2),Shenshu(BL 23) Sizhukong(SJ 23) and Ganshu(BL 18).Most adopted points are on the Bladder meridian of foot-taiyang and Gallbladder meridian of foot-shaoyang. The type of acupoints bases on special point in both ancient literature and modern literature,specially Crossing acupoints and the Five-Shu acupoints.Acupuncture points are mainly distributed in head-nape part and limbs part.In the ancient literature, the prescription bases on single point; while in the modern literature, it bases on multi-points.Ancient doctors pay more attention on Moxibustion;Modern doctors use a method that combine needle with unusual cure techniques like electric needle,and they pay more attention on choosing acupoints dialectically and the application of extraordinary acupoints.Conclusion:The ancient and modern doctors are similar in the meridian distribution and type of acupoints but had great difference in prescription.The commendatory high-frequency recipe:Jingming(BL 1),Qiuhou(EX-HN 7) and Tongziliao(GB 1) or Chengqi(ST 1),Cuanzhu(BL 2) and Taiyang(EX-HN 7),alternately used the next day, Fengchi(GB 20),Hegu(LI 4),Zusanli(ST 36),Guangming(GB 37) used everyday.
