The Study On TCM Syndrome And Treatment Regularity Of Ocular Connectors Disease

Objective: Based on retrospective study of literature and clinical of the common ocular connectors diseases, such as optic neuritis, ischemic optic neuropathy and optic atrophy, explore the pathogenic feature of the meridian and viscera related to ocular connectors diseases, to find syndrome pattern rule and diagnosis treatment theory of the ocular connectors diseases. Methods: I. A retrospective study of contemporary literature: processing and analysis of the contemporary literature related to the pathogenic factors, differentiation, medicating and the therapeutic result of the common ocular connectors diseases. II. A retrospective study of clinical cases: analysis and comparison between the differences of the disease courses, syndrome pattern, feature of medicating, efficacy and the relations between them based on 61 clinical cases. Results: In the early stage, the location of the optic neuritis is liver, mainly presented as Qi dysfunction and after that the impairment of the live and kidney, treated by relieving depression of the liver-qi, emphatically regulating liver and kidney, pay attention to regulating Qi to dissipate blood stasis, using drugs for relieving exterior disorder with affection by exopathogen. The outbreak age of ischemic optic neuropathy is older. It primarily belongs to deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality, related to dysfunction of heart, liver and kidney, emphatically treated by promoting blood circulation to dispel blood stasis, in addition tonifying liver and kidney, replenishing essence, enriching  the blood and promoting vision. The differentiation of optic nerve atrophy is divided into deficiency and excess, as excess interwoven common. The dose of tonic is the largest, in addition promoting blood circulation to dispel blood stasis, with a view to stasis and deficiency. The disease course of optic nerve atrophy is longer, which has no obvious difference between ischemic optic neuropathy and optic neuritis. There is no obvious difference between courses of the same syndrome pattern. The efficacy of optic nerve atrophy is relatively worse, which has no obvious difference between ischemic optic neuropathy and optic neuritis. There is no obvious difference between efficacy of the same syndrome pattern. Conclusion: The ocular connectors diseases are most closely related to liver. Emphasis on the relationship between meridian and viscera, based on integrated and microcosmic categorical identification in terms of causes. Early diseases in Qi and blood are treated from liver and heart, and deficiency is treated from liver and kidney,emphatically regulating liver and kidney, inhibition and generation between heart and kidney. Invasion of exopathogens can be treated from the urinary bladder channel. Furthermore, dredging sweat pore can run throughout the whole treatment process of the ocular connectors diseases.
