| Objective: Malignant ascites is one of the important features of digestive system tumors. Through the clinical observation of effectiveness of Xing Qi Li Shui Fang (XQF) for digestive system tumors intermingled diffussive water due to deficiency of spleen in patients with malignant ascites, we make a preliminary discussion about the tradiditional chinese medicine and western medicine treatment for the patients with malignant ascites, providing clinical research data to optimize the TCM treatment of medium-term and advanced malignant ascites. Methods: 48 malignant ascites patients of intermingled diffussive water due to deficiency of spleen were divided randomly into two groups. 24 patients in the observation group were administered with XQF and intraperitoneal perfusion with cisplatin, 24 patients in the control group with perfusion alone. Objective effects and the changes of subjective symptoms were studied during and after sixty days of treatment. Results: After two periods of treatment, the subjective symptoms,KPS,body weights,immune parameters were all significantly improved in the observation group, better than in the control one. And the toxicity incidence rate and toxic degree in the observation group is less than the control one. Conclusion: XQF with intraperitoneal chemotherapy have plus curative effect on treating malignant ascites. |
