Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To compare limited decompression with CoflexTM interspinous process device ("Coflex" for short by the following) and traditional complete decompression like total laminectomy with posterior lumbar interbody fusion ("PLIF" for short by the following) for the single level degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis systematically. Methods:Search the CENTRAL, PUBMED, EMBASE, SCI, CBM, CNKI and other databases, the studies matches the including criteria were included. After methodological evaluation, use Review Manager 5.0.25 brought by The Cochrane Collaboration to make a Meta-analysis of the data from the included studies. Conclusion:Coflex is better than PLIF in the operative injury of patients, while both of the short-term outcome of Coflex and PLIF have no statistically difference, but the data of long-term follow-up and more high quality RCTs are needed to evaluate continuously...
