China is the largest country of the total yield of fruit in the world. These fruits are a widevariety of and high quality. However, due to started late of fruit industry, it is still verybackward of Fruit the postpartum commercialization means. Some advanced foreign fruitsorting production lines are imported from abroad by part fruit producers in recent years.Because of Chinese fruit type and quality differences and Decentralized mode of operation ofthe fruit industry,it has limitations on the application of these lines. It has very importantpractical and economical significance to develop suitable Fruit-line non-destructive detectionand classification techniques and equipment facing the national characteristics of fruit. Basedon the decentralized layout of China's fruit industry and home and abroad research status ofSmall electronic weighing fruit sorting machine,the main subjects and conclusions of theresearch were as follows:(1)Based on SolidWorks2011a fruit sorting production line was designed and virtualassembled. The Structure Parameter Optimization of Mechanical system was designed. Themechanical system includes the transmission; production line bracket; weighing units; fruittrays and other parts, and it meet the functional requirements of weighing fruit sortingmachine, and it and can serve as experimental platform for machine vision-based fruit sortingmachine. A reasonable production line of fruit sorting machinery was gotten.Afterexperiments it shows that the normal movement of mechanical system that meet therequirements of the intended target.(2)According to the functional requirements of production line and weighing sets, fruittray was designed and manufactured. And it can achieve to acquisition of the fruit weighinformation with weighing module, and achieve to discharge with discharge device.(3)According to the functional requirements of production line, the discharge devicewas designed. Each parameter which affects discharge effect was analyzed. The reasonableparameters of discharge device were obtained.(4)According to the functional requirements to reduce the weighing error, weighing setswas designed and manufactured. Detailed mechanical analysis of the weighing sets weighingsensor was carried out. During weighing process, fruit weight is equal to two weighing sensorweight, regardless of the contact position with fruit tray.Weighing sets can effective to reduce measurement error during weighing process.(5)The finite element analysis of the fruit sorting machine key components was carriedout. The intensity and Vibration frequency of axis and Chain wheel were verified. It providesa theoretical basis to improve the quality of fruit sorting machine. It was verified thefeasibilitythrough actual processing.(6)The hardware portion of the data acquisition was completed and the data acquisitionmodule circuit board was gotten. Based on LabVIEW, the upper computer of fruit sortingweighing signal data acquisition system was designed. It gets the numeric value byRS232-485. The numeric value, which was data processed, displays the level of each fruit.After debugging, it was proved design reasonable and can desired weighing function.
