Comprehensive Evaluation Of Flue-cured Tobacco Quality In Pingdingshan And Comparative Analysis With American Tobacco

The quality style characteristics of Pingdingshan tobacco which samples included B2F, C3F and X3F was systmeatically and comprehensively analyzed from the five aspects of tobacco sensory, physical properties, routine chemical components, neutral aroma constituent and sensory taste; the similarity analysis between Pingdingshan tobacco and American tobacco was completed, which mainly included the similarity of tobacco color, similarity of chemical components, similarity of aroma precursor, the similarity of aroma type index and the similarity of sensory quality taste; which proveded an important theoretical basis for directional cultivation and scale development of Pingdingshan tobacco area in order to better meet the raw material demands of cigarette industrial enterprise. The specific results are as follows:Appearance quality of Pingdingshan tobacco leaves: the appearance quality of tobacco leaves was good, maturity of tobacco leaves was good, the false mature phenomenon of tobacco leaves basically eliminated; the color of most tobacco leaves was croci; the oil of middle and upper tobacco leaves was ample and the oil of lower tobacco leaves was being; the chromaticity of tobacco leaves mainly was thick and strong; the identity of upper tobacco leaves was appropriate and moderate; the lower leaves was a little thin; Except for the oil, other indicators of the appearance quality is closer to the United States tobacco.Appearance quality of Pingdingshan tobacco leaves: the appearance quality of tobacco leaves was good, maturity of tobacco leaves was good, the false mature phenomenon of tobacco leaves basically eliminated; the color of most tobacco leaves was croci; the oil of middle and upper tobacco leaves was ample and the oil of lower tobacco leaves was being; the chromaticity of tobacco leaves mainly was thick and strong; the identity of upper tobacco leaves was appropriate and moderate; the lower leaves was a little thin; Except for the oil, other indicators of the appearance quality is closer to the United States tobacco.The physical characteristics of Pingdingshan tobacco: there is appropriate tobacco thickness, the filling and the equilibrium moisture content, which is closer to the United States tobacco in the corresponding parts; there is lager tension and good anti-tobacco processing performance; there are thick upper leaves and more appropriate middle and lower leaves; there are higher leaf blade weight of upper leaves and more appropriate leaf blade weight.The neutral aroma constituents characteristics of Pingdingshan tobacco: There is a high level of neutral aroma components and the degradation products of carotenoids, and a low level of browning reaction and class Chromoplast alkanes. Pingdingshan neutral aroma of tobacco was higher than the United States Tobacco, the main reason is Pingdingshan tobacco with a high content of neophytadiene. The potassium content is lower than the U.S. tobacco, chlorine content is close to the United States tobacco, potassium chloride ratio is less than U.S. tobacco, the burning of the Pingdingshan tobacco is slightly worse than the United States; aroma precursors analysis showed that the five highest aroma precursors Content samples are Pingdingshan tobacco, Maillard reaction products and degradation products of type Chromoplast alkanes of Pingdingshan tobacco is lowest, phenylalanine degradation product category total carotenoids of the United States tobacco were lowest , Pingdingshan tobacco with a high content of neophytadiene. PCA and Partial least squares analysis showed that,the neutral aroma components were the most similar between tobacco leaves of Yangwang village of Ye county (east river embankment) Ye county(east bank) and U. S. Neutral aroma components of tobacco leaves were the most similar among Tangxi village, Tangjie town, Jia county, Jia county, Gaoteilu village, Shiqiao town, Baofeng county, Gaoteilu village Zhang village,Ciba town, Jia county.Neutral aroma components of tobacco leaves were the most similar between Yangwang village of Ye county (west river embankment) Ye county and Changqiao village, Changqiao town, Jia county. Aromas index model and organoleptic evaluation analysis showed that,tobacco samples of Ping dingshan were full flavor, and most samples were style highlighted, samples of U.S was strong or full flavor. Smoking evaluation showed that, Pingdingshan tobacco were full flavor of which style ranged from medium to strong, and U.S tobacco were full flavor. The score of smoking evaluation index were different between Pingdingshan and U.S tobacco, U.S tobacco had a high score of smoking aroma quality and concentration while Pingdingshan tobacco had a high score of exquisite.
