This thesis researches the long-time carbon sink of the urban planting landscape to provide the theory evidence and practice instruction for building the Low-Carbon urban planting landscape by taking the West Lake landscape and famous scenery of Hangzhou as the basic research object and by taking the different time span as the research scale. The specific method is that I chose 15 typical sites in the West Lake landscape and famous scenery by Model-Site method, and measure the DBH and the high of every tree on the sites to get every tree's current quantity of carbon sink. At the same time, I tried hard to get the every tree's quantity of carbon sink on the time of Park Opening through searching the history data and old drawing of these sites and interviewing with many old experts. Finally, I had the long-time effect of carbon sink of every tree and every site after the comparing and analyzing the huge data.The research findings indicate that there are some threes whose long-time effect of carbon sink are higher than others among all the investigated trees. Those kind of trees are fit for building the Low-Carbon urban planting landscape as the main material. Through comparing every site's annual average pure quantity of carbon sink in unit area, I could find the sites whose long-time effect of carbon sink are higher than others and then I could sum up the spacial types of the planting landscape that are beneficial for the long-time effect of carbon sink. Except that, I also could sum up the planting types of the tree community according to the average pure quantity of carbon sink in unit area of different tree communities on those sites.According to those threes whose long-time effect of carbon sink are higher than others among all the investigated trees, this thesis could compile a Low-Carbon urban plants directory for Hangzhou urban district. According to the spacial types of the planting landscape and the planting types of the tree community that are beneficial for the long-time effect of carbon sink, this thesis could get the planting model for building Low-Carbon urban and the direction of planting landscape planning and design for building the Low-Carbon urban as a conclusion.Finally, I hope the research findings and the conclusions could provide the theory evidence and practice instruction for Hangzhou and the periphery to build the Low-Carbon urban planting landscape.
