| In order to make sense of the influence of biological fermentation bed on the pigs'growth performance, carcass quality and health, three tests was carried out in this study. On the basis of comparing the different effects of feeds, the author made a further exploration on effects that biological fermentation bed have exerted on piglets'antibody concentration of blood, the bifid bacteria, lactobacillus, colon bacillus in their excrements, as well as the carcass composition of growing-finishing pigs and their meat quality.Testâ‘ Influence of biological fermentation bed on the growth performance and health of suckling piglets.120 healthy, one-day-old suckling piglets crossing the Duroc, the Landrace and Large Yorkshire were elected to have the single factor test. They were divided into two treatment groups randomly. Each treatment group contains three repeating groups, which include 20 piglets each. They were fed in the warming-stand biological fermentation bed for sows farrowing (test group), and warming-stand grass-matting cement floor for sows farrowing (control group) respectively, lasting for 28 days for the research on the influence of biological fermentation bed on piglets'growth performance and health. The result showed that the feeding with biological fermentation bed improve the piglets'growth performance and health condition. Weaned at the age of 28-day-old, compared with the control group, on average, those piglets in test group had a 8.27%(P<0.05) increase of in weight, a 5.71%decrease in feed/gain rate; a 7.8% increase in the amount of bifid bacteria in their excrements, a 7.0% increase in lactobacillus, a 1.0% decrease in colon bacillus. Piglets'concentration of antibody blood, IgM, IgG and IgA, were also 36.36% (P<0.01),16.67%(P<0.05) and 7.41% higher than those of the control group respectively. They also shared a decrease of diarrhea rate by 96.87% and incidence rate by 93.33%.Testâ‘¡Influence of biological fermentation bed on the growth performance and health of weaned piglets.60 healthy,28-day-old weaned piglets crossing the Duroc, the Landrace and Large Yorkshire were elected to have the single factor test. They were divided into two treatment groups randomly. Each treatment group contains three repeating groups, which include 10 piglets each. They were fed in biological fermentation bed column (test group), and grass-matting cement floor column (control group) respectively, lasting for 21 days for the research on the influence of biological fermentation bed on weaned piglets'growth performance and health. The result demonstrated that the average daily feed intake and average daily gain of the piglets in biological fermentation bed were 623.52g and 381.25g respectively,3.47% and 10.80% (P<0.05) higher than those of control group. Feed/gain rate (F/G) was 1.63, which is 8.20% lower than the control group. Their concentration of antibody blood, IgM, IgG and IgA, were also 26.10%(P<0.05),7.70% and 3.0% higher than those of the control group respectively. Diarrhea rate and incidence rate were also decrease by 82.0% (P<0.01) and 80.90% (P<0.01) respectively, compared with the control group.Testâ‘¢Influence of biological fermentation bed on the growth performance and carcass quality of growing-finishing pigs.60 healthy, weighing about 25kg, castrated growing hybrid pigs, crossing the Duroc, the Landrace and Large Yorkshire were elected to have the single factor test. They were divided into two treatment groups randomly. Each treatment group contains three repeating groups, which include 10 pigs each. They were fed in biological fermentation bed column (test group), and cement floor column (control group) respectively, lasting for 90 days for the research on the influence of biological fermentation bed on the growth performance and carcass quality of growing-finishing pigs. The result demonstrated that the average daily gain of pigs in the group with the biological fermentation bed is 6.80%(P<0.05), which is higher than those of control group; while feed conversion ratio is lower by 4.67%. Biological fermentation bed improved carcass quality of growing-finishing pigs, and meat color and marbling score also increased 22.45%(P<0.05) and 22.22%(P<0.05) after comparison with the control group.45min and 24h after the slaughter, PH value of water holding capacity, the slaughtering rate, and carcass lean meat percentage and loin eye area were also increased. It is estimated from the economic benefit perspective that the cost of each pig decrease 16 Yuan. |
