With the development of science and technology, Multi-stage hybrid planetary transmission system has been widely used in the field of mining, cement, metallurgy, cranes, automobiles, machine tools, chemicals,electricity, instruments, textiles and so on. Multi-stage hybrid planetary transmission system is constituted by combination of the cylindrical gear, bevel gear drive, etc, and planetary gear drive. Its high-speed level is driven by a variety of fixed-axis as mentioned above, and its low-level by planetary gear, so it can be adapted to transmission between intersecting and staggered axis, achieve different purposes such as large transmission ratio, high torque output and so on, and make full use of the transmission characteristics of various types to overcome their weaknesses, to meet the diversity need of the market.The exsitence research results show that efficient, high-power deceleration transmission is one of the hot topics of international design and research areas in deceleration transmission. However, the traditional design, methods not only have heavy workload, work inefficiently but also are ineffective; obviously it cannot meet the demands of times.In this paper, the efficient, high-power deceleration transmission and its developing trend at home and abroad was detailed description. Based on in-depth study of optimal design theory, parametric modeling techniques and object-oriented programming language, Author used universal3D software Solidworks as development platform of this research subject whose technology is mature; Visual Basic6.0, the Object-oriented development tools, was used to develope interactive interface,the secondary development of solidworks realized by calling API functions to achieved parametric modeling; Matlab, the mathematical calculation software was used to mixed programming with VB to achieved calculate optimized; Microsoft Access2000was selected to manage and storage data of the application; Made the optimal design theory into entire process of design.Constructed a optimal design of multi-stage hybrid planetary transmission system that based on programming development, optimal design technology and CAD technology. The system mainly includes six modues:Initital parameter input, Optimum distribution of transmission ratio, Optimized design of planetary gear, Optimized design of ordinary gear train, parametric modeling and data query.Used information-exchanging operation to carry out optimization calculation of the main parts and automatic3D parametric modeling of Multi-stage hybrid planetary transmission system.Which greatly improves the efficiency of development and design of the products, shorten the development cycle, reduce design cost and ensure the market competitiveness of enterprises. Meanwhile, the results of developments have great significance to promote design and manufacturing capability of similar equipment in the related fields.
