In today's era of severe energy situation, building energy consumption accounts for a significant proportion of the total energy consumption of the community, and an upward trend. Thus reducing building energy consumption become inevitable with the development of the society, with far-reaching social significance. In cold areas, high-rise office building energy consumption occupies a foremost place in the total building energy consumption, in which air conditioning heating accounts for a large proportion. This thesis, taking a new high-rise office building in Zhengzhou as an example, starting from the energy-save external structure, based on winter energy conservation, taking into account save energy in summer, aiming at improve energy-saving technique under the whole year weather conditions, analyzes the energy consumption characteristics and energy-saving defects of building envelope in Zhengzhou high-rise office building, correspondingly put forward some strategic recommendations to improve the high-rise office building energy efficiency standards for cold regions.From the perspective of building physics, using analytical methods of field measurements and computer simulations, the thesis studied and analyzed the energy-saving of the external structure of the new high-rise office buildings in Chung Dong New Area, and did in-depth researches, specifically in the following areas:First, analyzed the Zhengzhou's climate characteristics to provide the basis for building energy efficiency, Second, selected the typical Guangcai building as an object of the study to make a field research about a number of Chung Dong New Area's high-rise office building energy consumption and its influencing factors. Third, detailedly and systematically analyzed the external structure characteristics of the Plaza Building, which related to Energy Conservation, Fourth, measured Guangcai Building's winter temperature and humidity data to obtain the relationship between temperature and humidity and the energy-saving levels of the external structure.Fifth, simulated and studied the energy consumption and energy-saving level of Guangcai building by using DeST energy-saving software,analyzing the strengths and weaknesses, optimizing the building envelope, to provide an effective strategy for envelope energy saving of cold-region's high-rise office building on the basis of the study.To conclude,In cold areas, to improve energy saving level of walls and shade and transparent structure according to common characteristics of high-rise office building envelope is the key strategy to improve the energy conservation levels of them.
