The thesis is part of the project of "mechanical and electrical products and systems modular design platform", which is the 863 projects. We have a study on the research of Wheel loader working device variant design, design optimization and simulation technology, and design and develop a support system of the device variant design and simulation analysis of wheel loaders.The first chapter is an introduction. Paper reading, review and explore the product design and development, optimization design theory and its current situation, and give the significance and content of the paper.The second chapter is devoted to the wheel loader product design and manufacturing process, carry out structural strength calculation of the working device and the variant design requirements analysis, design the system architecture, functional model and information model and database tables, and discusses the key technologies.The third chapter analyzes the loader working device status and to carry out the optimization of the wheel loader working device design system, including the SML-based variant design system flow, data flow diagrams, configuration and design of technology.Chapter four takes the key components of the wheel loader working device-the boom and bucket mechanical for analysis and finite element simulation study to analyze and optimize the results of the design.Chapter five describes the prototype system which is developed after the function design in earlier chapters. Show the user interface of modeling and variant design system which includes product family modeling tools (modeling planning, modeling, model management) and variant tools (product variant, product configuration, model search).Finally a summary of the full text, and pointed out the need for further research.
