The wheel loader is a very broad use of construction machinery,which can be bucketing unloading,transporting and smothing bulk materials under complex environment,and also can be shoveling rock and hard soil slightly. In addition, the bucket can also be used to smooth uneven ground surface and draw other machine to operate. With the differernt kinds of working device,the wheel loader can also bulldoze,lift and hand timber . The design methods of the working device of wheel loader is the type that use the tradition with make the diagram to try method. However, these methods are difficult to meet the designr equirements, which is period long and cumbersome. It is necessary to apply virtual phototyping technology to design the working decice of wheel loader.This paper describes the status and trend of domestic and foreign development of wheel loader and introduce the structure and the working principle of the working device.The paper analyzes the forces of the compents of the working device, and makes kinematic theoretical analysis for the working device.Three-dimensional model of the working device of wheel loader is established by CATIA software, and MSC SimDesigner is detailly introduced which is the interface software of CATIA and ADAMS. Kinematic pair constraints and motional constraints are added to working device under MSC SimDesigner software environment before the model of working decice is imported into ADAMS.Determining the change of the pressure of hydraulic system through experiment,which provides test data for simulation analysis. Virtual prototype model of the working device is set up by ADAMS software,the kinematic and dynamic simulation is discussed,and the curves about performance of the working device are shown.
