Windchill-based Teaching And Training System Of Networked Manufacturing

This paper deals with the study of the Windchill network teaching system. It analyzes the current state and prospect of the domestic and foreign advanced engineering training situation, indicating the importance of developing the Windchill network teaching system. In addition, the Networked manufacturing teaching system theory based on Windchill has also been elaborated. The scale engineering of higher engineering training concept is introduced systematically and the related content of product lifecycle management (PLM) technology is explained. The object based on Windchill network teaching systems is productions indicating product design methods and techniques, explaining the core technology- DNC which is based on Windchill network teaching systems.The text describes the platform of Windchill network teaching system. The management platform mainly uses the function including document management and document storage and retrieval query; the creative platform mainly uses the creative training process to achieve the purpose of train students'creativity. This chapter focuses on the software and hardware system of design platform, the methods to realize the platform, the composition of detecting platform and the evaluating methods of feedback platform. This paper, based on engineering training center of Nanjing University of Science and Technology, describes the implementation and the results of the teaching system. It offers the picture of system structure and application effect. The system is identified to meet the demands of higher engineering training and the students'training through student satisfaction survey.
