According to the functional requirements of ticket recovering module in the automatic gate machine, the overall architecture of the mechanical and control systems are analyzed, which the mechanical composition and the control performance are given. On the basis of that, the mechanical structure and the control system are respectively designed and analyzed.In the design of mechanical structure, the whole structural layout of the module is arranged first, then the design of delivery mechanism, elevating mechanism and ticket box are accomplished, such as using the belt transmission mechanism with multi-driven wheels, the elevating mechanism with synchronous belt, etc. In addition, the type of the electromagnet which meets the action request of the baffle is selected. After that, the contact-impact finite element models of the ticket are created under two baffles. The stress and strain of the ticket and its chip in the contact-impact process are obtained with the simulation results of the momentary contact-impact process, which ensure the service life of the ticket.In the aspect of designing the control system, after giving the global frame, the overall hardware circuit of the module is designed, while the system software framework and its work flow are described.This paper focuses on the design and research of the module mechanical structure and control system. The mechanisms of the product have been completed, and the research of the control system provides some references for the follow-up production.
