In recent years, power demand growing rapidly along with the development of China national economic. Part of the old power line have some difficulties such as lack of conveying capacity and the technological transformation. How to use the existing power line resources effectively, increasing the conveying capacity of per unit corridor area of line, saving the corridor land, reducing the power line effects on environment and the construction investment. The above problems which must be paid close attention in electric power infrastructure.This paper combined with the transformation project of JinHua electric power 220kV Longquan and Longhua transmission line capacity increasing, Analyzing the characteristics,supporting hardware of transmission lines, key technology of construction, operation and cost of the ACCC through using the method of theoretical calculation and characteristic test. Showing its superior performance and also introducing the features and advantages of the ACCC in transmission power line reforms. The research also has practical and objective reference for the other similar engineering construction project.
