Research On The Controlling Of Architecture Form In Historical Districts Renewal

The controlling of architectural form in historical districts is a very important part of urban design work. Currently, controlling system in China in many ways is still a big gap with the European countries. For example, the controlling system is not so consummate; the lacking of analysis on the professional point of view; the lacking of evaluation mechanisms and so on. This paper compares the similarities and differences of form control guidelines in Historic Districts in China and abroad. Then base on the study of architectural form of theoretical understanding and analysis, this paper trying to assess the correlation of buildings, and intent to achieve the control effect of architectural form in historic districts. Finally, this paper makes a exhaustive analysis on the HU BIAN CUN districts, and gives some suggestions on planning.
