With the development of automotive engineering, people's requirement on the riding comfort of automobiles is increasing, and nicer smoothness and low noise is an important symbol of automobiles. Automobile powertrain is one of main vibrations which often result in passenger's uncomfortable. The optimal capability of designing a mount system of automobile powertrain has directly an influence on automobile's smoothness and reducing noise as well as extend the service life of powertrain and other related components.In this paper, based on a lot of references about mount, the powertrain mounting system of a commercial vehicle has been deeply studied.A dynamics mode with 6 DOFs of the mounting system is established.The basic parameter of the mounting system such as: the location of mass center and the moment of inertia of powertrain are measured by experiments.On the basis of distributing the natural frequency and vibration decoupling rationally, consider improving the performance of the vibration isolation of mounting from many aspects such as: mounting installation location, mounting installation angle, mounting stiffness and so on. According to the related optimization parameters such as: mounting stiffness, the virtual mechanical model was built up in ADAMS and simulation analysis for it was conducted. The last step, choice the similar parameters'rubber mount to test.Then the test had been carried out,and satisfying result is obtained.The study method and the result of study on the power train mount system in this paper had provided guideline for vibration isolation design of vehicle powertrain mounting system.
