Along with the rapid development of the auto industry, People demand more and more for the comfort of the car indoor. The development of the man-machine project has improved car indoor comfort, but the indoor thermal comfort has not been got enough attention. The air flow field and temperature field of the car indoor has a significant effect on the health of body and mind to the passenger, and this effect works out by the air's characteristics of the car indoor. The adjustment of the indoor thermal comfort relies mainly on the air conditioning system. As long with the development of the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), it's effective to imitate indoor flow field by using CFD method. There is little research about numerical simulation of the indoor flow field for a pickup, but in this paper, the research of the indoor flow field for a pickup produced by a enterprise was carried out from both the effect of the air conditioning and the solar radiation.This paper relies on industrial products adaptability link state key laboratory and the project car engine compartment flow field and temperature field analysis, especially as a deeply research for the project of air conditioning duct numerical analysis and optimization. Firstly, using the CFD method to carry a numerical simulation for the air duct and improve the structure based on the result. Then, carrying a numerical simulation for the indoor flow field after the proportion of air volume meeting the design value as to research the effect on the indoor flow field from the air conditioning parameters and solar radiation. The main content includes having necessarily simplified the pickup real 3D model and meshed it, Choosing the FLUENT RNGк-εturbulent model and S2S radiation model to carry a numerical simulation of the indoor flow field. Using the post-processing software Tecplot to make the numerical result visual, get the distribution situation of the velocity and temperature field of the analysis section. Calculating the index of the thermal comfort PMV and PPD, having evaluated the thermal comfort of the driver area.The analysis result shows that the increase of air speed not only increases the speed of indoor air, also can reduce indoor air temperature, because it increases the entering air volume in unit time; The increase of air temperature increase the indoor air temperature, and has little effect to the indoor air speed. But if the difference of the supply air temperature is very big, it will change the air flow pattern which affects the indoor air velocity field; The sun radiation has little effect to the indoor air speed, but will increase the indoor air temperature and the heat load of the air conditioning. So, we have to consider the effect of the air condition and sun radiation when researching the indoor flow field and thermal comfort. The analysis and research of this paper can not only solve the practical problem for the enterprise, provide guidance for the design or improvement of the air condition system and the indoor thermal comfort, but also set up a research method for the indoor thermal comfort which can be a foundation for the indoor flow field further research.
