Research On The Landscape Design Of Yuzhong District Of Chongqing City Based On "Shanshui City" Theory

With the acceleration of China's urbanization process,cities have become people's important residences in the 21st century.However, nowadays, there have been many problems in urban construction, which makes the"Shanshui City"theory with Chinese characteristics attract public attention in China. With the hope of providing references for researchers and practitioners,this thesis studies"Shanshui City"theory in urban construction,makes renewal designs to reshape the landscape of Yuzhong District of Chongqing.Based on related literature review and environmental art design theories,this thesis deeply explores the connotation and objectives of"Shanshui City"theory in urban landscape design,analyzes the current landscape situation in Yuzhong District of Chongqing in detail,and discusses the goals,principles and methods of landscape design for the requirement of being a"Shan-shui city".Meanwhile,some landscape renewal designs are presented according to the above theory and relative government documents in this thesis.The main conclusions are as follows:First, based on related literature review , this thesis gives a summary of the connotation of the"shanshui city"theory in urban landscape design and explains the theory in three aspects: the key philosophy,the basic principles and the concrete construction plan.Then, a plan and its methodology for urban landscape design based on"Shanshui city"are established,which provides theoretic foundation for"Shanshui city"landscape construction.Second, the thesis analyses the main problems of landscape design in Yuzhong District of Chongqing by surveys and observations,these problems are discussed in terms of designs in natural landscape and the in human landscape.Then, according to the above problems and the theory of"Shanshui city", this thesis makes a feasibility study and provides the methodology of the reconstruction in old city, and further verifies the feasibility and Operability of the landscape design practice based on"Shanshui city"theory.Third, based on the theories of environmental art design and environmental aesthetics,this thesis divides the landscape in Yuzhong District into two categories: the natural and the human landscapes. Then, related design objectives and principles are put forward. In terms of the natural landscape, landscape design includes the whole and local parts in Yuzhong District, while, as for the human landscape design, the renewal design is made in three aspects including the historical and cultural heritages,the footpaths in mountain city and the spatial expansion of the District.Thus, the renewal design may be helpful to the combination of mountains and city and the harmony of the local culture and the geographic environment in Chongqing.
