The city changes rapid development background, city traffic supply and demand contradiction is increasingly acerb, had become our country city development a reality can not be avoided. The development of public transportation is the effective way of solving the city traffic problem, is to achieve low carbon transport essential condition, is the inevitable choice of sustainable development of city. City public traffic and the people's production and life are closely related, countries put forward city public traffic of preferential development, got the support of the masses. Public traffic line network optimization is the key to establish the sustainable development of the city public transportation system, for adjusting the city layout and land use pattern, adjustment of city traffic structure, ease traffic congestion, reduce environmental pollution and traffic resource consumption, play a decisive role.In this paper, combined with the specific project needs, the existing research on the basis, to the Jinan city public transit network optimization technology research. The concrete research content mainly has:first of all, in the learning on the basis of previous studies, an overview of the public transit network optimization technology contents, refining line network optimization principle, target, analysed line network optimization factors and constraints, and summarizes the present wired network optimization algorithms, and has carried on the comparative analysis. Secondly, through the survey of access to public transportation system of passenger satisfaction evaluation, establishes the evaluation index system of public transportation system, using the level of analysis to obtain the influence line network development index weight, thus further clear line network optimization goal and the need to solve the problem. Once again, to explore the establishment of bus travel demand model needed for survey data and traffic zone division method, and with the aid of planning software to establish the model of the data elements required in building bus impedance function, on the basis of EMME3 of have the aid of, fixed cost allocation and congestion allocation principle, the adaptability are discussed; at the same time, description on the different forms of distribution results under inspection method, so as to ensure the reliability and authenticity of the model solution. Then, in the establishment of public transit demand based on the model, to establish line network optimization evaluation model--passengers and bus companies benefit balance system cost optimal model. This model will be the passenger and bus operation input were converted to time, so that the two are equally important relationships, and the two and smallest, solving the model will use EMME3 to complete. And according to the characteristics of Jinan City, put forward three kinds of line network optimization strategy, respectively formulate line network optimization scheme, and according to the system cost optimal model with three kinds of schemes evaluation analysis, determine the optimal scheme.Finally, the summary of the thesis, points out the problems for further research on yet.
