| The 23mm Chain Gun is the research object in this paper. The development and research of the Chain Gun at home and abroad are introduced in this paper firstly, and then describes the structure and the work principle of the 23mm Chain Gun.Based on the theories of classical interior ballistics and auto weapon gas dynamics, a mathematics model of the interior ballistics and aftereffect period of the 23mm Chain Gun firing process has been established, and then the chamber pressure curve has been got by calculating program written by VB language.By using the theory of multi-body system dynamics and virtual prototyping technology, the dynamics model of the 23mm Chain Gun is established in ADAMS, and then analysis the working characteristics. Then obtain the affect laws of the 23mm Chain Gun's working characteristics by change the structural parameters of the buffer device and the stand quality of the Chain Gun, and obtain a more reasonable design at last.According to the principle of the finite element theory, the finite element model of the 23mm Chain Gun's lock and locked process is established, and the key components' statics stress is analyzed in ABAQUS. The results show that the original cam pin's strength can't meet the requirements, it will affect the service life of the chain gun. By changing the structure of the chain gun's breechblock, the stress distribution of the structure has been improved and the service life of the chain gun has also been increased drastically. The new chain gun pass the test of the range successfully at last.The research work of chain gun in this paper can provide some value reference for the future research. |
