UAV development has gone through almost a century, a century through the efforts of people, unmanned aerial vehicle technology is relatively mature. The first application of UAVs in the military field, it gives each country an enormous military application. Low loss of its personnel, cost-effective, easy operation, small size, low noise applications such as edge, so that people get an unprecedented application. Military to civilian high-tech development has been the inevitable transformation trend, because the core components of unmanned aircraft for microelectronics products, subject to the impact of Moore's Law, every time the price will be reduced to a certain half of the original, and double the performance. Therefore, research and application of UAVs will be increasingly low threshold, the popularity of this technology is the inevitable trend of development.Overseas, the UAV has been used in many non-military areas of precedent, the civilian UAV trend is also rising. I have an internship while studying in Germany, the project is the development of small UAV design, I get a first-hand information, and a lot of market and design studies. Based on this practical basis, I analyzed the situation in China, various kinds of police officers in the field of policing, when high-altitude investigation needed, but not enough because the situation in China with many other large flight equipment, therefore, the low-cost, simple in principle, easy to maintain, easy introduction to small UAV platform areas of our country's police is necessary.Therefore, this technology through various types of unmanned aerial vehicles and their advantages and disadvantages of the principle, analysis of different types of unmanned aircraft in different police areas of potential demand. Analysis of the various kinds of police officers out of police of the actual difficulties and the use of small aircraft which can solve the problem; the same time, according to their professional focus, specifically for police use small unmanned aircraft design method developed for the study and practice of the line, such as the use of Bionic Design, visual perception theory, modeling rules tension, balance and visual design style segmentation methods, coding and other forms of communication semantics of design theory, the practice carried out to explore. Hope for the industrial design category for the other flying aircraft designed to provide form design recommendations.Based on the above research content and product design methods, this paper analyzes that our application in the field of police and advantages of the possibility of a small UAV context. The use of industrial design related design theory, in simple terms for police UAV design and design methodology are given specific steps of the introduction, the designer can make use of relevant methods to enhance the use of the police the ability to grasp the shape of unmanned flight, to better convey design ideas UAV, UAV design to make more visual impact, enhance the sense of product quality and so are described in detail. Meanwhile, according to practical experience in Germany, to actually use a small UAV design and development process has made the corresponding description. Finally, to sum up this point of view, put forward other areas of applications of small unmanned aerial vehicle prospects.
