Research On The Planning Of Urban Color Control In Taizhou

The image crisis of "monotonous alikcnss" emerges in the process of rapid urbanization in China in recent 30 years. Due to the long-neglected urban color and the serious lack of the awareness of urban color control and management, most color environment in city has nothing good to report and the similar trite urban color becomes a real burden. From east to west, inland to coastal areas, it is difficult for us to distinguish the characteristics of urban geography and human environmental background, from the features of the urban color since the convergent and similar color image of cities can be found everywhere. Besides, the lack of color control and management leads to rough abuse of color. The "chaos" in color environment has become widespread defects in big and medium size cities in China. As the acceleration of urbanization process, the confusion trend will be intensified.The national theoretical research on systematic urban color relatively starts late and falls behind. Before the 1990s, the theoretical research atmosphere has not been created and just few systematic urban color programmes have been planned and designed. From the 21st century, the problem of urban color attracts more and more attentions. But the lagging research on urban color results in the inadequate preparation in urban color planning practice. In terms of urban color education, due to special training limited to the specialized field, professional talents in urban planning and architecture and other fields tend to lack the knowledge of social sciences, arts and culture.The phenomenon of cluttered urban color landscape, weak fruits of urban color theories, backwards of urban color planning practice, lack of urban color professionals and deficient knowledge of urban color among the public jointly construct urban color environment in China nowadays. Against this major background, the paper launches the research on urban color control and management.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is the outline, describing the related concepts and the connotations; the research background and significance:research ideas and methodology. Second part is the summary of the related research, introducing color control planning at home and abroad and the problem of domestic urban color control planning focusing on urban color evaluation and the effects of urban color control planning. The third part is the introduction of the framework of urban color control planning, introducing the research and evaluation on the present situation of urban color, the overall orientation of urban color planning, and the dividing management zones of urban color control planning respectively. The fourth part is the implementation management of urban color control planning, describing the urban color control planning mechanism and management implementation details. The fifth part is the practice exploration, using urban color planning and management in Luqiao district to re-versify the point in this paper. The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect.
