Children's hospitals, which serve for a specific population, are vital to the whole society all over the world. All in all, the space environment design for children's hospitals is supposed to be different to any other medical and healthcare space. Moreover, the special customers, children, make it a unique space environment design while comparing with other children based behavior spaces, such as children parks, kindergartens and so on. Based on this certain background, it has been an age long research topic for all designers that how to design a children's hospital to create a kind of harmonious atmosphere in order to meet both the psychological and psychological requirements from sick children.Behavior space cannot be formed without its two necessary elements, which would be space and behavior. It is essential that a feasible and appropriate design ought to provide supported space environment for the behavior space's occurrence and development. As a result, its original design must be centered upon the requirement of the specific space environment. Before all the study, field investigations and questionnaire survey methods are undertaken to find out their real ideas and status firstly. Furthermore, the spatial behavior of the three using groups, children, guardians and doctors, are discussed firstly in this study. Based on the theory of Environmental Behavior and Environmental Design, the behavior characteristics and requirement details of the three using groups are summarized after particular analysis of the three groups respectively. And then according to these results, the space environment design wizards of children's hospitals are studied and discussed. This study will provide an important inference for the further study of the space environment design and construction of humanized children's hospitals.
