Urban Residents Travel Characteristics And Planning Response Research Of HeFei Main City

The rapid growth of the economy, the development of urbanization and motorization,make China's cities transportation problems crucial in this critical period, the solvent of urbantransportation problem is most important tasks of China's city immediately. It is a exigentperiod of urban expansion of Hefei, residents travel characteristics has continuously varietyand the need of traffic promote .Open an residents travel characteristic survey and analysis ,excellent city transportation structure, leading a good travel way is an urgent thing.In this article, the main research is urban travel survey and the analysis ,using themathematical statistic method, the overall travel characteristics, different classes of residentsand different location travel characteristics of Hefei residents are respectively analyzedthrough the questionnaire survey, summarizes the general rules of urban trips and problemsand analyzes the main factors of affecting residents travel. The city planning policy of leadingHefei city residents to sensible travel is discussed on this basis and it provides decisionsupport for city planning and traffic development.Through the analysis it is found that, Hefei city residents low share of public transporttrips, with the rate of car travel continuous rising; long distances travel is inconvenience tocity residents with too much time consumed; Different location residents possess differenttravel characteristics. Different class residents have significant difference travel characteristics.These problems caused by city land layout, transportation network configuration and busnetwork structure in three aspects.With reference to the domestic and foreign transportation planning policy, This essayputs forward a series of optimization measures about the layout of urban land, the roadtransport network and urban public transportation network.
