At present, the research on the choice of travel mode mainly focuses on the impact of personal attributes on the choice of travel mode, often neglecting the impact analysis of different urban areas in the same city.Zhangjiakou is a mountainous city. The central city consists of five clusters, each of which has differences in urban size, road slopes and economic development, can be biased. In this thesis, the trip characteristics of residents in the multi-group cities in the Central Mountain areas are studied, and the effects of various indicators on the trip are analyzed, and the corresponding mathematical models are established.First of all, this thesis makes a general statistical analysis on the factors affecting the choice of travel mode of Zhangjiakou residents and the travel data of the study area. The main survey and statistics of personal attributes, travel characteristics and macro-travel environment and other relevant data.Secondly,it analyzes the single-factor influence of personal attributes, travel characteristics and macro-travel environment on the choice of travel mode of residents in built-up central urban areas,a single-factor regression model was established to verify the validity of the model, which was based on the relationship between the non-motor vehicle trip proportion and the urban size and the longitudinal slope of the road.Among them, the polynomial regression curve of the model of urban area scale and non-motor vehicle trip proportion is in the form of a convex curve with high middle and low two sides, that is,the proportion of non-motor vehicle trip in groups with medium urban land scale is large, the smallest or largest group of non-motor vehicle travel proportion is small, the mathematical law is different from the general research results, showing the characteristics of the Central Mountain City Group. Then, this thesis constructs a disaggregate model of the choice model of residents’ travel mode.Multiple logistic regression models were constructed by taking individual attributes, trip attributes and macro-trip environment characteristics as independent variables and trip mode as dependent variables.Based on the results of the model calibration parameters, the Quantitative analysis factors and the choice of mode of travel were affected, and the regression equation model and prediction equation were derived.Through the fitting test and prediction accuracy analysis of the model estimation results between the macroscopic travel environment variables and the travel mode choice, the results show that the prediction accuracy of the model is higher than that of the model without macro-travel environment variables, the completeness of the explanation and the accuracy of the prediction of the disaggregate model for the travel mode choice of residents in the multi-group cities in the central mountainous areas are guaranteed.
