Study On The Application Of Mosaiculture In Landscape Architecture

The mosaiculture is the finer combination of the horticulture and the art, which is a zoetic sculpture. Today, the garden or the ecotypic pattern of city is increasingly spark plug. The mosaiculture that is characterized by well ornamental feature and zoology harmonious is just conform the trend of the city development, which makes it increasingly applied to the city garden. During the recent few decades, Chinese and foreign garden experts have done lots of research and work, which helps it develop quickly and makes it concerned and popular by citizen.This paper presents the trait, function, form, sort, origin and development of the mosaiculture, taking the work of Shanghai international mosaiculture 2006 as primary illustration. This paper also presents the present conditions of applications of the mosaiculture from the aspects of sculpt, plant material, color, culture connotation, state of landscape, scale and scope of application. It uses different modus operandi for reference, summarizing the experience of the mosaiculture on artistic design, structure and sculpt, filling and colligation technic, option and arrangement of plants, planting technology, conservation and management. All these will exert positive effects on applying the mosaiculture to internal urban afforestation for the future.This paper point out that the mosaiculture must be made of primarily plant material instead of assistant material; that the mosaiculture must develop with the times and continue to innovate; that the internal horticultural level can be improved through learning from overseas strong points; that we should develop well the mosaiculture on the basis of scientific planning and proper development. This paper strongly emphasizes that we can promote the sustainable development of the mosaiculture by digging deeply up traditional cultural connotation and attaching great importance to the ecological meaning of the mosaiculture. In a word, the mosaiculture involving humanistic ideal and ecological ideal has more value of sights life.
