Research On Hull Production Design Data Management Technology Based On XTPDM

For a long period, there is a overall backwardness of China's shipbuilding industry in ship development, production design, construction technology, production management. This results in the low efficiency and effectiveness of China's shipbuilding. Among them, as an important part of ship construction, the production design as a bridge connects the design and construction, however, various kinds of the data and large amount of data lead to confused problems in data management, which has seriously hampered the development of China's shipbuilding industry. Therefore, how to use the PDM data management technology in ship production design is the problems that urgently needs to solve in China's shipbuilding industry.In this paper, based on the research in shipbuilding enterprise, the hull production design data management technology is studied. By using the shipbuilding group technology principles, the Lean Shipbuilding theory and product data management technologies. in order to resolve the hull production design data management problems in China's shipbuilding enterprises. Firstly, through analyzing the chaotic phenomenon of hull production design data management, low level in data sharing, poor level in multiplexing and the incompleteness of data, this article proposes the necessity and urgency in using the PDM data management technology to the production design. Secondly, the production design work is completed by using the ship hull design software FORAN, and obtains the hull production design data and drawings, which is necessory in this paper's research. Again, using the product data management theory and methods, the drawings and product data, which is extracted from the FORAN, is transferred to XTPDM, in the way of the drawings data processing, through the collection,storage and inspection of the design data. Finally, the data management technique that is produced by the hull design data in the XTPDM achieves practical applications, including the management of hull production design process, the browser and query of hull production design data, the application of report forms in hull production design data and the change management of hull production design data and so on.This paper aims to explore the ways and means of using the PDM technology on the hull production design data management and application, so as to provide reference for China's shipbuilding enterprises to implement the PDM technology, and to do some benefit for the digital ship production design of shipbuilding industry development.
