The pipeline intensity test is a general test that in order to ensure the tightness and reliability before the initial operation, metal pipeline is required to do a intensity test which pressure is 1.2 to 1.5 times of design pressure by every classification societies. It is usually happened that pipeline exploded because of breaking while the intensity test in every industry which caused serious casualties and property losses. According to the related regulations of our country, the pipeline which pressure is more than lOMPa is defined as high-pressure pipeline. Take drilling unit for example, the working pressure of the high-pressure pipeline can reach 140MPa, and the intensity test is the most dangerous test among the tests of platform.Therefore, the safety research on high-pressure pipeline intensity test of drilling platform becomes much more important.The aim of this paper is to do a safety research on high-pressure pipeline intensity test of drilling platform. According to related samples, pipeline weldability, stress analysis and security analysis theory, the detailed work is as follows:1. Make a research of weldability of platform pipeline material-ASTM 4130 steel which is related to cold-cracking sensitivity in order to avoid the lack of flaw, reduce the impact on intensity test and give advice and theory support for engineering practice.2. Make a theoretical analysis for high-pressure pipeline and related piping components on platform under the condition of intensity test, CAESAR II and MSC.PATRAN/NASTRAN programs are used as numerical simulation in the global and local pipeline to make stress analysis and comparisons. Then research and establish a stress testing method for dangerous section of testing pipeline.3. The fault tree analysis methods are used for the security analysis of intensity test. Combining with the study results and engineering practice, provide a reasonable test solution as instructions and advice for high-pressure pipeline safety intensity test method.
