Research On The Evaluation Of The Urban Water Supply Security With Factor Analysis

The urban water supply is an important part of the urban infrastructure, the foundation of urban development, the symbol of urban developing level and capacity, the basic condition for constructing a modern city with political stability, economic prosperity, developed science and technology, raised affluence. With the increasing of population and the development of social economy, the problems of urban water supply, such as the shortage of the output of supplying water of cities, the increasingly serious water pollution, the problems of pipe network of supplying water, lower water standard and the shortage of constructing funds, have increasingly became the bottleneck which restricting the social and economic sustainable development.Many Serious water supply crisis and accidents have been paid close attention by experts and scholars in recent years. At present, the safety evaluation system of the urban water supply includes determination of the nature and strategy discussion mainly. There is less of quantitative research. However, the safety evaluation system of the urban water supply is the premise and basis for making strategic planning and determining establishment constriction of the urban water supply. For instance, the research of the comprehensive and systematic evaluation system is valuable for theory and practice. There are the contents and achievements of the research as follow:(1) Structuring the evaluation system of the urban water supply securityAt the base of the research achievements of the water safety and water supply security, this thesis aims to discuss and define the definition and features of the safety of urban water supply. According to the guiding ideology, design philosophy, and the connotation of the urban water supply security, this paper strives to construct the indexes system of comprehensive evaluation of the urban water supply security. This system includes the safety of source of water, the safety of water purification production, the safety of pipe network, the safety of management, Economic and social level, water use efficiency. There are 16 specific indicators here. (2) Applying the evaluation system of the urban water supply security which based on factor analysis.After compared with the other several mature evaluation methods, and according to the different usages and the features of urban water supply, we take the factor analysis which full of practical applicability and effectiveness to find out the main factors of influencing the security of the Yunnan water supply.(3) Proposing the safeguard measure of the Yunnan urban water supply securityAccording to the result of evaluation, and combining with the development plan and actual situation, this paper proposes the feasible strategy and the distribution of water facilities so that we could construct the framework of Yunnan urban water supply infrastructure. The paper provides the comprehensive and visual analysis and safeguard measure for the water infrastructure construction. Otherwise, this thesis also has the value of reference and application for the similar problem of other cities.
