Study On The Safety Of Urban Water Supply In Dongguan City

In recent years,water scarcity has become a key problem for cities around the world due to people's unrestrained use and lack of protection of water resources.The same is true in China,although there are a large number of fresh water resources,but the per capita ownership lags behind most countries in the world,belongs to the serious water shortage.Therefore,how to strengthen the effective development and utilization of water resources and improve the safety of urban water supply has become a major issue in the process of sustainable development in the new era.With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the uneven distribution of water resources,the uneven per capita possession and the serious water pollution have resulted in the unsatisfied demand of urban water supply.The demand of urban water supply is not only the demand of water quantity,but also the demand of people and Industries for water supply security.Under the background of the new era,urban safety is the focus of public concern,it is not only a problem of industry management,but also a public management problem closely related to the economy,society and the people.Based on this,this study takes Dongguan as the specific research object,Dongguan's particularity lies in the small land,many people,industrial water demand,local water resources per capita shortage.Based on the theory of Public Safety and public safety management,this paper analyzes the present situation of Water Supply Safety in Dongguan City,taking the safety of drinking water source,the safety of water purification process in water treatment plant and the safety of water supply pipe network as the main lines This paper sums up the existing problems of urban water supply security,and puts forward some policy suggestions,which can be used for reference by Dongguan and other cities with similar situation in China,and promote the level of urban water supply security management in China.In the study,the background and significance of the study on the urban water supply problem in Dongguan were clarified,and the current research situation of the subject was summarized And Clear Public Safety and public safety management,public crisis and public crisis management of the two major related theories;Then it analyzes the current situation of water supply security in Dongguan City from the aspects of drinking water source,water supply system and water purification technology,water supply pipe network,water supply management and service.Then it concludes that there are problems in the water supply security of Dongguan City.Finally,the paper puts forward some policy recommendations for the safety of Urban Water Supply in Dongguan This paper gives some detailed countermeasures and suggestions from five aspects,such as overall planning of Water Resources Management,scientific integration of water resources,upgrading and rebuilding of water supply facilities,constructing and perfecting water quality monitoring system,and strengthening water supply safety management.This study has a strong practical significance and certain application value,through the study of Water Supply Security in Dongguan City,to provide reference for the optimization of urban water supply security in China.
