Water is the indispensable material of society advance and culture development for human,the traditional village water space consists of water is the activity of villages,which reveals the Chinese traditional environmental theory that man is an integral part of nature,contains the special regional culture,is the classical Model of traditional residential environment,As the rapid development of economy,Accelerating of the new rural construction,the out space especially the water space of traditional village,suffered violent impact,coming up with new challenge and requirement to the modern residential environment.For the current situation,this article studies on water space of traditional Village in Quzhou,form various perspectives to analyze the water space of traditional village in Quzhou by searching plenty of data,using landscape and relevant subjects theory,on the basis of plenty of survey.At first,this article Clarifies the factors such as natural condition,economy & culture,social custom which influence the formation of water space in Quzhou;Then analyzes the main composition of water space of traditional village in Quzhou,discusses the construction method and specialty of water space;Finally, summaries the enlightenment which is from the water space of traditional village in Quzhou, and Discusses how to inherit and develop the design idea and method for water space by the author's practice.Summaries the art and science of water space for traditional village in Quzhou,provides the modern residential environment construction with reference,Does help to residential environment construction which contains national specialty and satisfies the modern requirements, through studying on the water space of traditional village in Quzhou.
