The Application Research Of FTP NFS And WEB Server In Voyage Data Recorder

The Voyage Data Recorder, which is commonly known as the marine black box, is an intelligent device that automatically collects real-time status data of navigation information. The recorded data is the most direct and effective basis that objectively analyses the cause of the accident and plays an important role in concluding the lessons to prevent similar incident from happening and enhances maritime safety. Therefore, to research the final memory container of VDR——Data Protection Container Protective Data Capsule is of great significance.According to the International Maritime Organization standards document, this paper analyzes hardware and software needs of the PDC system which gives the PDC system composition of hardware and software structure. The PDC chooses Samsung's S3C2440 which is ARM9 family of processors as the core component for hardware and matches embedded Linux kernel. Then the paper discusses the detail of PDC, fast and reliable implementation of Ethernet data transmission, friendly human-machine interface and the key technologies of reliable data recording.Transplanting and configuring the FTP server based on the practical application in the PDC, and setting up the NFS server, that makes the PDC have function of network hard disk. Building the WEB server in the PDC is easy for the user to manage and configure the PDC through the IE browser which is an interactive Web form. Finally, the paper describes a key technology and the reliability of the data record——disk array, and raises new issues about the disk array mode Raid10 for this system, and the experiments show that this program is both innovative and effective.
